Common issues with Suzuki
The number one Suzuki job in this shop is undoing winter. Carbureted QuadRunners and Eigers hate modern ethanol gas, and a few idle months turn it to varnish in the pilot jets. Hard cold starts, a surging idle, dies the second the choke comes off. We do the whole job, not the quick version: bowl, jets, fuel lines, petcock screen, fresh gas, and a short sermon about stabilizer. Book it in spring and you're riding instead of waiting on us; book it in October and you're hunting instead of cranking.
Batteries run a close second, and here's where a lot of owners waste money: we test before we replace, because sometimes the battery is fine and the charging system isn't. A weak stator or regulator will kill new batteries as fast as you can buy them, and diagnosing that ahead of time beats discovering it by headlight-dim at dusk or a no-start on opening morning.
