These Terms of Service govern your use of newtownautotire.com and the services provided by New Town Automotive & Tire ("New Town." "we," "us") at 347 Captain Shands Rd, Weyers Cave, VA 24486. By using this website or authorizing service, you agree to these terms.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us, book service, or become a customer, we collect information such as your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, and details about your vehicle or equipment (year, make, model, VIN, license plate, mileage, and service history). If you pay electronically, payment is handled by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and its hosting platform may collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring pages through cookies and similar technologies, including basic analytics that help us understand how the site is used. You can limit cookies through your browser settings.
Communications. If you call, email, text, or message us, we keep a record of the communication so we can serve you and maintain accurate service history.
How we use your information
We use your information to schedule and perform service, prepare estimates and invoices, order parts, process payments, maintain your vehicle's service records, remind you about appointments and recommended maintenance, respond to your questions, report completed services to vehicle history providers (see below), request feedback and reviews, send marketing you have agreed to receive, comply with law, and protect our legal rights.
Text messaging (SMS) program
With your consent, we send text messages related to your service such as appointment confirmations and reminders, estimate approvals, status updates, and vehicle-ready notifications. If you separately opt in, occasional messages about offers and seasonal specials.
By providing your mobile number and opting in (on a form, online, or verbally at the counter), you consent to receive automated and non-automated text messages from New Town Automotive & Tire at that number. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, and HELP for help or contact us at 540-684-1453. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messages you have requested
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with: service providers that help us operate (payment processors, appointment and booking software, messaging and review platforms, website hosting) and that may use it only to provide those services to us; vehicle history reporting: as a Carfax service-reporting shop, we report completed service events (vehicle and service information) so your maintenance history follows your VIN; parts suppliers and warranty administrators when needed to process a parts warranty claim; affiliated service locations, so your vehicle's history is available if you use one of our affiliate locations; and legal purposes, when required by law or to protect our rights, customers, or others.
Data retention and security
We keep customer and vehicle records as long as needed to provide service, maintain accurate service history, and meet legal and tax requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information; no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of marketing communications, by emailing daniel@newtownautotire.com or calling 540-684-1453. Text STOP to end text messages, and use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We will honor verified requests within a reasonable time, except where we must retain records by law (for example, invoices and repair records).
Children's privacy
We deeply respect the privacy rights of minors. Our website is a general audience platform, and we do not knowingly market to, target, or collect personal information from children under the age of 13 or minors under the age of 18.
