Around the valley they roam the neighborhoods, cruise through the campgrounds, act as a stealth hunting rig, and cover ground at every fairground and event in Rockingham and Augusta County. When one quits, or when you want it to do more than it did from the factory, there aren't many places to take it. We're one of them.

The repairs we see most
Electric carts are simple machines with a short list of usual suspects, and the batteries top it. A cart that's lost its range, charges slowly, or dies on hills usually has a battery pack problem. A weak cell dragging down the set, corroded terminals and cables, or a charger that isn't doing its job. We test packs cell by cell, service the connections, and when replacement time comes we'll talk honestly about lead-acid versus lithium: lithium costs more up front and weighs a fraction as much, but it isn't the right answer for every cart or every budget.
Beyond batteries: solenoids that click but don't engage, worn speed controllers, motor brushes, brake adjustments and shoes, steering and suspension wear, tires, and the wiring gremlins that come with machines living outdoors. If your cart sat all winter and won't wake up, that's a Tuesday for us.

Upgrades: Lift kits, performance, and accessories
This is the fun half of the job. We install:

Lift kits — from modest spacer lifts to full A-arm kits that clear oversized all-terrain tires, done with the axle, steering, and brake geometry checked so the cart still drives right after it's tall.

Performance upgrades — higher-speed controllers, upgraded motors, and the supporting wiring and cooling to make the extra power live, not just brag. If we get far enough into it you will be needing to completely replace your cart's suspension and drivetrain.

Accessory installation — light kits, brush guards, rear seat kits, enclosures, windshields, sound systems, cargo boxes, mirrors, and whatever else turns a bare cart into the one you actually want. Wired cleanly, fused properly, mounted to last.

Lithium Conversions — a third of the weight as a set of leads, lifespan is 2-4x longer, increase your driving range from 10-12 miles to 30-40 miles, comes with manufacturer warranties, and never deal with power loss due to low batteries on your ride again.

Common Questions
Why is my cart slow up hills all of a sudden?
Nine times out of ten it's the battery pack. One weak cell pulls the whole set down, and hills expose it first. The tenth time it's a controller or motor issue. Pack testing tells us which, and it's a quick check.
Can you make my cart faster?
Usually, yes. Controller and motor upgrades can add meaningful speed to most electric carts. How far to push it depends on the cart's brakes, tires, and frame.
Do you work on gas golf carts too?
Call us. Our focus is electric carts, but a small gas engine that needs carb work or won't start is familiar territory. Worst case, we'll point you to the right answer for it.
How do I get my cart to you?
