Mazdaspeed3s and turbocharged CX-7s (2007–2012) had a harder life: VVT actuator rattle, turbo failures, and oil starvation issues that reward vigilant maintenance. And across the modern lineup we see the routine stuff: Brake calipers sticking after salty winters, worn sway bar links from pothole season on the back roads near Mount Solon.
